Emotional letter to John Murtha by Chelle Stockman

Tuesday, May 30, 2006

From: Chelle Stockman
            California

To:  Congressman John Murtha

Dear Sir:

Today like so many other days, I woke burdened by the multi-tiered plight of our country. (I'm reminded of an old nursery rhyme about Humpty Dumpty.)  I was first treated to British news which reported the annulment of an EU-US agreement which required airlines to transfer passenger data to US authorities.  I researched to find if we violated any rights of those abroad and found some 50 cases.  The one that had the most profound affect upon me pertained to a University professor of cryptography in Spain, Dr. Arturo Quirantes Sierra.  After reading for a few hours, I grew sad that our country's sins in the name of fighting terror are creating terror for many around the world as well as for us.

Secondly, I was treated to the news playing on the television in the background that addressed the civilian deaths at the hands of our Marines and the Pat Tillman story.  I half heartedly listened as I continued my avenue of research and did so at all because my eldest goes off to Ft. Benning, Georgia upon his high school graduation.  I wondered what he would do if his squad went on an enraged carnage as the Marines are reported to have done.  I kept finding one disappointing truth after another from our EU trade agreements-- letters to the EU containing demands and letters to the congress that were supposed to be a copy of the same but read a little different; and also the history of Secretary of Treasury Posts since G.W. Bush became our president.   The outlook was bleak to speak lightly of such serious subjects.

I began to pray, sir.  I wanted to know why so many cover-ups, non-disclosures and out right lies are coming out of this administration.  My acquaintances around the world say America is living her darkest moment since her formation.  The answer came to me in a still voice-my inner dialog during times of great woes.  It said, "You asked me for truth.  You cried out for truth to manifest.  I delivered to you certain truths; now what are you going to do with this information?"

I began writing in my blogs about some of the information I came upon trusting that somewhere someone would see it.  I tell ya Sir, it's as though I'm a salmon swimming upstream in a polluted river hoping to lay a few eggs.  I heard your name mentioned as "coming right up."  I listened to you as I always do.  Your words have resonance with me.  I appreciate your bravery coming against our sins in times when people are dirtied in order to be removed.

You spoke about accountability and peace keeping on the ground.  It was peace keeping I breathed in deeply and I whispered, "Peace."  Our ground troops are essential in peace keeping missions.  If it were about massacre we'd have attacked by air and been done.  We must train our soldiers equally in peace keeping and local negotiations which involves knowing the customs of indigenous people of the regions we are deployed to.

I love you John Murtha.  You make me feel like an American once again. I'm sorry to be so uncharacteristically emotional, but I'm buckling under the pressure as I sit hoping truth will prevail and that we the American people are brave enough to handle the truth.  Lead us sir as a Representative of the People.  Continue long on our behalf unlike the presidents who I'm coming to believe are nothing more than the sales force for an unseen but felt oligarchy.

Sincerely,
Chelle Stockman

The Power to Snoop Continues by Chelle Stockman

"The Power to Snoop Continues"

Those boarding trans-atlantic flights are probably aware that their personal information is stored in security data banks of the governments. The Bush administration demanded of EU countries they hand over PNR Data for "purposes of security." PNR is short for Passenger Name Record. The agreement between the European Commission and the US government failed to establish limitations on their reasons for data collection and storage for the millions of travelers who fly. The Parliment kept up their protest that it violated the British citizens rights of protection but got nowhere as many people felt the governments had every right to this information if it prevented terrorism.

There has been no terrorist caught since this program went into place some 3 plus years ago and the European Court of Justice annulled the Eu-Us illegal agreement pending a viable legal solution. They have until September 30 of this year to accomplish this. Meanwhile the searches will continue. The Bush administration fired back that it would impose heavy fines and deny landing rights for any airline failing to meet the agreement demanded of them sending a message of threat to our allies and others.

The testimonies of people who were detained for hours and in some cases days were alarming to say the least. In each and every case, no probable cause was given other than they had the rights to investigate any individual they deemed necessary. The list of those detained were interesting. Most worked in fields of engineering or were professors at Universites around the world, specialists in computer encryptian fields, etc. These people were due to give speeches on such things as government spying using encryted programs. So what happens to them? They are detained for a lengthy period of time until they miss their event and any monetary suffering is the responsibility of the detainee. They are put on a list and get singled out every time they fly and probably will continue to do so.

The most interesting case that I found myself heartsick over was of a Professor out of the University of Granada in Spain. Professor Arturo Quirantes Sierra, a specialist in cryptography and member of the Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility has a huge story to tell. For more information, I urge you to log on to:

From there, you'll be able to find a slew of valuable information by way of links on the last page of the article.

You won't easily find the news article about Washington's threat to the EU about what will occur if they follow their courts annullment of the "agreement". So, I'll post another link for you:

I submit to you that if we continue on our path of dominance we will suffer the same shame Humpty Dumpty did.

Re:America, The Fearful response to the News Chat Folks

Cheba,

I just read the article and while everything in it is true, I expect those who support Bush will bring up the past presidents and their sins in the name of our country as well as the effects they had upon the then future of the American people.  To those folks, I say, all that is now in the past and what we currently have isn't anything to be proud of.

To say Republicans this or Democrats that means absolutely nothing.  What we are really saying is that Americans are ineffective.  What are we going to do about this?

I'm moving to a different server and won't be online after June 11th.  There is a group of us and we are growing slowly.  We have a plan of reward and penalty to help level the playing field of the global oligarchy's control over the happenings, the policies and the welfare of the people in this world.  It will be a lifetime effort on our part.

I'm unwilling to blame the Republicans or the Democrats for the trouble we are in.  If blame is placed on anyone, it is to be upon our backs because we were not vigilant.  To merely vote these folks into power is not what Democracy is all about.  Think about it; with the millions of people living in America, it always comes down to less than a handful.  We vote on the leftovers.  Besides, the presidents are nothing but glorified salesmen, selling the people and even the world what the real bosses dictate.

Please note that when you slur someone in the name of your beliefs, you are slurring another American exercising their rights.

May we procure the best for the people.

Sincerely,
Chelle Stockman

My First Letter to the Bushs' and The Current Whitehouse by Chelle Stockman

Subj: The Polls and what they mean  Date: 5/14/2006 1:50:36 PM Pacific Daylight Time From: GoddessOf7Worlds To: comments@whitehouse.gov

Dear Folks at the White House, Mrs. Bush, and President Bush:

Ordinarily, I'd agree with you about the inconsistencies of polls, however, an enormous increase of voting citizens and future voters are offering their opinions via polls.

To say as Bill Clinton did that polls don't mean anything is erroneous.  It is like saying to the constituents that their opinions mean nothing. As an American, I merely expect to be heard and represented with enthusiasm.  That's all I'm asking.

Sincerely,

Rochelle Gleason Stockman

Gen. Michael Hayden and the Posse Comitatus Act by Chelle Stockman

Opinion

I'll begin with a gentle reminder about what it took to pass the Antiterrorism bill.  Then president, Bill Clinton had to nullify the Posse Comitatus Act, which disallowed any military movement against civilians in America.

Today we will listen to arguments about why Gen. Michael Hayden should replace Porter Goss as the director of a civilian post in the CIA.
To consider Gen. Hayden for such a position would be pointless if this administration gave a hoot for our constitutional rights, but our current president's past actions as governor of Texas is all the proof we need to know that his allegiance has nothing to do with America's Constitution.  What proof is this I speak of?  The Davidian compound massacre.  The karma from that fiasco brought out the wrath of Timothy McVeigh upon Oklahoma.

Here we go again; this time putting a military general over a civilian policing agency.   For how long will we the people of America be willing to suffer the karma of this president?  Know that to appoint this over-qualified military man over a civilian agency is a direct violation of the Posse Comitatus Act put forth in 1878.

Out of the Mouth of Babes by Chelle Stockman & Daniel Stockman

My eldest son, who just turned 18 in March, will be going off to bootcamp in July just two weeks after his highschool graduation. My well meaning friends and cohorts who are against the war have pelted me with comments about my mothering capabilities.  My reply has always been unwavering in support for my son's dreams and goals.  Since he was 11-yrs-old, he has known exactly what he was going to do in his life, what he was going to give up that we can all have a better life; he would join the Army.  People over the years tried to persuade him to join the Airforce or Navy and even then he had his reasons.  It would be the Marines or the Army for him and he was already set for the Army in his heart.  So for the past several years, I've visited with recruiters to ease my heart more than to help my son succeed.  I fired questions at them of my own and researched their responses whenever I felt neccessary, but nothing and I do mean nothing can take the place of my son's own words which appeared in today's Vallejo Times Herald on Page A13--the Opinion Page.  Here are his words.

April 20, 2006
Vallejo Times Herald This is my reason

I write this not to impress, not to make my name known, and not to gain recognition. I write this out of obligation. Some people look at me and see things I don't - "Oh, he could do so much more with his life, why is he going off to sign up in this man's Army?" Then someone else might claim I'm a brainwashed teen with a death wish and very little hope.

Now I know there are a lot of things I probably won't like about the military and a lot of things I have to learn about life. However, I know for a fact I don't have a death wish, nor am I brainwashed.

A lot of people say that those joining the military are desperate and just want the benefits; or that without the military, they would be out on the streets. In some cases, this may be correct, but it doesn't apply to everybody. I didn't sign up for the benefits. I didn't even necessarily sign up to serve this nation and its woefully ungrateful populace.

I signed up for those who won't, and those who never did return in past and present wars alike. Obligation. If I can somehow help even a single life, then it will have been worth it. If I lose my life or come home disabled while serving, the former won't matter, and I'll have to deal with the latter. Many are saying to me - directly and indirectly - that I shouldn't have chose this route, that I should have just gone to college. They obviously don't realize that I still plan to.

All I know is that where there is conflict, there is a difference that can be made. Will I be able to make a difference? I don't know - those outside the military don't know what it's like and my recruiters are just doing their job as good as any college representative would.

I simply don't know if I will find what I seek while serving, but I'll do whatever it takes to help those whoneed it. I'm sorry if you think I made a horrible choice, but if it weren't for people making these "horrible" choices, this nation would cease to exist.

A nation will always have an Army - either their own, or somebody else's.

Big Bang-Twinkling of an Eye by Chelle Stockman

Many Christians are bent on disproving what science is trying to prove--the truth.  For those Christians I say, relax or be excited about this.  Truth must prevail.

They need to understand scientific method which can be so cumbersome in its quest for truth, leaving nothing undiscovered.  Are there such things as the undiscovered truths?  You bet there are.

So why are people of religious faiths so at odds with the scientific world?  Perhaps it is because so much science turns out to be incorrect, that is until the scientific method uses the errors to hit upon and explain the truths.

One such truth is the Big Bang Theory.  I'm shocked that so many religious people are at odds with this theory but most shocked at my fellow Christians.  For Christians, all we have to do is to look at the blueprint written by humans inspired by God expressly for humans--the bible (old and new testaments).  For Christians, the Big Bang Theory is really the scientific explanation of what we know to be the Twinkling of an Eye promise.  1 Corinthians 15.50 to 58 lay out some pretty cool clues to what we are in reality and how we shall abort our existence in this world.  It is about the perishable and imperishable, the mortal and the immortal.  My favorite part in this passage is 51- 52 which states, "Listen, I will tell you a mystery! We will not all die, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet."

I am truly excited about science, my skeptical friends.  Be excited with me!  The method science uses is painfully slow but even so, they are one day going to prove what philosophers like Socrates supposed, that there is an absolute God. With our 3-dimensional existence putting a wedge between the truth and our understanding, the Super-String theory combined with the Super symmetry Theory shall prove of heavens beyond those we recognize such as Paul's 3rd heaven and John's 7th heaven.

To be created in the image of our creator is simply that we are spirit, thinking, conscious spirits, just as our creator is.  I don't freak out when I hear things like, "man came from fish".  Remember the fish and fowl were here long before us.  They came on the 5th day of our creator's creation.  Note, I did not say, "on the human understanding of a day. " We didn't get here until the 6th day of our creator's creation.

Don't get me started folks.  I love the word of God and I love science.   I find no problem in either as I come to understand more and more.  I'm shooting for wisdom and that can only come as truth is manifested; so, rock on you scientists out there!
