Letter of Response to Cox.Net

Our Sins-Our Woes (goals)

I'm sad.  I'm mortified and shaken from the core.  Why haven't we found a better way to live and let live?  Inhumanity is spreading.

The British invaded Ireland to grab much needed resources.  They invaded Italy to dispose of Mussolini.  It was all done because allegiances had shifted and Mussolini was a murderer.  In 1946 Churchill gave his "Iron Curtain" speech at Westminster with Truman looking upon him in awe.  America and England called themselves the deed holders to the title of democracy.  It was their message at the time; they would be bringing it to the entire world.

Meanwhile, The Muslim League had formed and by Oct. 1946, over a million Hindus had been violated in the worst humanly possible way then slaughtered.  Where were the title holders of democracy while that was happening?  Guess there wasn't anyone to tell them they were the wrong country at the wrong time.

Years later after a series of non-war wars, Afghanistan and Pakistan are kind-of-pals to us, the Mussolini of Iraq has been disposed, we now grab the resources we need to move in on Iran.  They control a great portion of the natural gas reserves coming out of the "Bottomless Pit" (Caspian Sea).

We are pals with China, a country that doesn't support anything we say we stand for yet they own our debt and can at will sell it to the highest or even the lowest bidder.  No one tells the Chinese they have to get a profit.  In fact, they can sell off our debt to bin Laden if they choose to.  The Chinese assimilate territories by force and destroy historical archives as they did to the monks of Tibet  while disallowing anything smacking of dissent including pics of the Dali Lama. They have moved like solitary bees into the rocky cliffs of the Himalayans.  This has the people of India shaking once again.  Will the world stand by watching another grand scale massacre  in the name of procuring "resources" and an "advantageous position"?
I'm sad. Ashamed.  This won't go on much longer.  We were promised.

Note:  That 70's Show reminded me about the gas crunch of old, when the country went Japanese.  In the 60's therewas a campaign to buy American goods with the fear of the day being that Americans would lose their pensions and blue-collar jobs because Japan could become the producer of our cars. No more unions to glue us together, worker and company.

Today the rising costs and fervor over gas has everything to do with public transportation.  They will encourage us to use public transportation so they can justify raping the Caspian Sea, New Guinea, and other such natural gas rich countries.  You see, most public transportation runs off compressed natural gas and they wish for our homes to be dependent on natural gas which they sell us as cheaper.  You and I are familiar with the term inflation.  Nothing is ever cheaper unless it is junk.

Even our President tells us if we want things to be less harmful to our environment we will have to pay more(hitting us in our wallets) as is the case with mercury residuals left behind from our "cheap" cost of electricity.  Thank you American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) you right hand of the Republican Party.  Thank you Enron, you number three clients of American Legislative Exchange Council, you.  Thank you for your lies, your deceit, and your broken promises.  (Where is 60 Minutes when we need them?)

In our town we kept Liquid Natural Gas facilities away but they will return.  Mark my words.   Yes it is cheaper.  It appears to burn slightly cleaner, but it freezes as it rises to the atmosphere then falls into our waterways.  They don't tell us everything.  They never will.  It is about using resources to get where they ultimately want us to be, where ever the Hell that is.  Hell.. yeah... that's it.

A Heavenly Ride To Hell.
