Gift of Radicals: Silencing the Woman by Chelle Stockman

{Originally when I wrote this, the news had reported the story was about a teacher and one of her sons.  Three days later they ammended the story to say the sons and daughters  and in American news these sons and daughters were called her students. I left the journal entry as it was in error, yet, not one person took the time to either email me or correct me.  I conclude that few actually read what I wrote and that of those who did view me, they were not persuaded to care by the story that I found horrific.}

The acts of the radicals in Sudan who are calling for the death of a teacher who allowed her child to name his Teddy Bear, Muhammed (Mohammed), has me bewildered and angered, not only at their extremist mentality, but also at their utter and abject stupidity.  They blindly follow as they are ordered by other men in clerics' robes and are all too easily incited to commit attrocities in the name of God.  They are no different than the Jews back in the days of Jesus.

So a little boy wanted to name his Teddy Bear Muhammed.  Obviously the boy thought Muhammed was someone important enough, someone safe and someone he could trust, someone he might want to hug in his bed at night to stave off creatures of his child's imagination.  To a child, these things are important and in his child-like way, he is bringing honor to Muhammed. However, the radicals seeking to punish his mother for allowing him to name his furry companion the name of a prophet reveals their utter foolishness and complete lack of humanity, all the things God created.  I'll tell you what these radicals have succeeded in doing and that is, they stole away this child's trust in Muhammed.  I ask these radicals a few necessary questions. How many of you men have insisted that your son be named after the prophet?  How many of your children have lived up to your idea of what this prophet stood for?  How many of your children who bore the name of this prophet have disappointed you?  I say to you this.  If you believe this mother should in anyway be punished for allowing her son to name his security companion after this prophet then logically you should also seek to give equal punishment to all those fathers who insisted their sons bear this prophet's name and also punish all those who bear this name but fail to live up to those heavenly standards. But you aren't fair, nor are you logical.

Now, I am going to say one other thing that irks me to no end and that is that your women never appear in public at your protests.  Your angered faces appear world wide on television screens and none of your women have their own voice.  Let those women escape and they tell a different story and are far more compassionate toward their fellow human beings that your own leaders are; and what do you angered easily led pirates of truth and life do? You order a death upon them wherever they may be found.  You ungrateful sons of muzzled women.  You came through their wombs and yet you deprive them their own voice.  I am ashamed of you.  I am filled with disrespect toward you. You are a sickening example of what God's message to this world is.  You bring dishonor to God's creation and to God's image.

Repent.  Change your hearts.  Be transformed and restore your women to the honorable place they deserve- along side of you. You have a heart.  You have your own ears.  You have your own mind. Are you so deaf and stoney that you require men in men in robes posing as your lords to dictate to you what God wants of you? Are you so distrusting of God that you fear entering a personal relationship with Him? Shame!

If you continue to follow these lords of the cleric, you shall earn their perdition and all because you gave up your own right to have a personal relationship with our creator.  I'll mourn for you, because I know deep down, you'd love our Father if you allowed yourself to know him.  It is your right.  These clerics are nothing more than men who bleed, just like you.  They have no magical knowlege that you don't also possess.  Claim your own rights to be a child of your God and then bring honor back to your mothers, wives, and daughters.  I'm trusting that you'll hear the voice of the divine in your own hearts and that it won't come by way of other men who lord their importance over you.

For those of you who enter this transformation, I pray for God to bless you.

Vacation from Propaganda

Greetings People.

I tried to flee the floods of propaganda amidst the storm of peace, but propaganda followed me wherever I went.  I've just returned from news about Musharraf in Pakistan.  One question.

Is he a touch paranoid? I mean, did he have to torture and beat Aitizaz in front of everyone for daring to think he could win an election over Musharraf?  Or, might Musharraf be a touch paranoid because his rival Benazir Bhutto came home only to be seen having tea with the likes of Nawaz Sharif, according to Pakistani gossip news.  Makes me wonder if bin Laden is feeling a little slighted that she has been seen in public speaking to other men.  After all, most know bin Laden has the hots for this tough  yet elegant lady.

comment: I knew before America began covering Benazir Bhutto's self release out of her Dubai exile that she was already returning to Pakistan.  America was being bombarded by alcoholics, drug users, renegade Lexus drivers and women who don't wear undies under their cheap white skirts, washed up a football player planning a coup to steal back his own property and the likes of other such nonsense; all under the privledge of News.

Nevermind that one new picture of bin Laden surfaced with his handsome face sporting a perfectly applied henna to his neatly trimmed beard which is a preparation for a ceremony of reuniting with one of his wives. Could that be the gorgeous Benazir Bhutto? The silly American News sources neglected to cover much of any substance in those following weeks and then a teensy blip about Ms. Bhutto was all we got.  I sure hope you'll all go take a peek at her history and GHW Bush's agreements with her back in 1988.  Seems our President was quite the effective jihadist himself, while American tax dollars helped to fund his hirees, the Muhajadeen in that jihad.  I warned you all when it came to my attention that Ms. Bhutto was planning to return to Pakistan and not one of you seemed to care.

Then on cue, someone tried to assassinate her but failed.  I say thank goodness.  Why?  She was the only leader who ever gave a care about other women in her country.  That is almost enough for me to put her on a pedastal.  Thing is, who would want her dead?

Well, let's see.  There is Musharraf and PPL and PPP folks who might be jealous of her power and might have had political aspirations of their own while pretending to be a supporter of her. On a more serious note, there were those who knew that she had some very powerful allies in America and Great Britain that she relied on from time to time to help take down the opposing forces.  Today we call those oppostion forces terrorists, so it is possible.  It could also be hired mercanaries that intend to keep Ms. Bhutto from ever mentioning her companions in the final leg of one of her jihads in Afghanistan, mainly GHW Bush.  Yes, it could be that a group of "contractors" were hired to erase her so American History can be properly written to make those in Capitol Dreggs, look squeaky clean without looking too uptight. Now that's a capital drag.

At any rate, I'm back swimming in the pools of propaganda as I try to retrieve the tidbits of news floating about.  Oh yeah!  I almost forgot to warn you!   Forgive me, but Pakistan is in real trouble now.  They might have to be eliminated as a country.  I know, I know, if they get taken out, who will contend with the Hindi folks over Kashmir?  I suppose Black Water can hire someone to keep that war going.  We can't have age old wars die simply because an entire country is wiped out, now, can we?

Yup, Pakistan is about to become a carefully supplied diversion.  I suggest you all look for what isn't being covered as you keep one of your eyes on the Pakistani troubles.

Oh yeah, lets pray while we are at it because as awful as some people seem, furnishing the world with terrorists and such, people do die.  People are tortured.   Landscape is forever changed.  Pray and don't stop praying.

We humans do not deserve the criminal options supplied by the inhumane governments of this world today, including our own.  I wonder if Bush is as paranoid as Musharaff right now?   I know Cheney isn't.  He is the wild profiteer, the devil's own son.

Call of the Celestials: Creator to Creation, Anyone There?

We can do just about anything we want to do in life.  It''s just that there is so much we do that isn't worth doing and that's okay because there are two things we all do for sure, being born and dying. The stuff we do in between, called living, is what's on my mind.

Right now, I'm drinking a cup of coffee out of a mug with a holly berry design that I'm sure is a kind of Christmas cup, but its so inornate that it isn't gaudy as most Christmas things are and it is simply appealing to me. When I pause to stop typing, the cup warms my hands and the faint smell of coffee whisps up my nose.  Notice, I didn't say wafts up my nose.  That's because the steam is rising in a type of dance up to the heavens, but its power is too weak to reach that level of height so it is my nose that becomes the steam's heaven.

The sound of birds, lots of birds, not only in the trees outside my window, but all down the hill, treat my ears to their various songs.  As I glance outward through my thick wood blinds, not only do I notice the blinds haven't been dusted in a long time, but also the cloud shaded hills across the canyon. Just a few weeks ago, the grasses were a sun kissed gold but after the little rains we have had, those grasses are bending toward the water-soaked earth and have become a tawny beige brown with splashes of newly formed greens.  I think to myself, "Soon the hills will take on new life."

Yesterday I was coming home from up North. The place I go that is north of where I live I call North as if north were a place of its own. Whenever I am given a choice as to where I shall go, I'll always choose North. My favorite drive to North is only about an hour away, not quite even that and it houses one of my favorite Tribal Casinos in the Capay Valley.  That territory, day or night, grips my heart.  There is unrecognized beauty that no other beauty can compare to, unless its the beauty found coming over the King's Grade into Lake Tahoe. I figure the beauty goes unnoticed by most motorists because people traveling through that area want to go to the casino or are working on the roads there, too busy to appreciate the ever changing sky against the backdrop of rolling foothills and mountains. I've often spoken of its magnificent beauty to those who go northward to the casino there and they have always responded that they have never noticed.  I have urged them all to notice, because it isn't something that once you have seen it, you'll ever let go unnoticed again.

Yesterday's trip home from North gave me hope.  I purposed myself to drive in the slow lane of the freeway, because motorists here in California drive as though they are on an autobahn in Europe. The sky gave the most unexpected display of lights through the clouds. Well, I didn't want the freeway motorists to intrude on such beauty. They were in a hurry to get to wherever it was they were going and not the least bit interested in accepting the gift that was before them at that one point of time, never to be offered quite like that ever again.  I knew this because they were all clambering for the perfect hole-shot passing at speeds of some 90 plus mph whenever possible. This was during the afternoon commute home. While I was braking to slow for those in front of me and checking my side mirrors to see all those rushing at breakneck speeds towards me, I decided to take in the scenery at my right. Majesty reached through its clouded heaven to spill forth an array of gold and silver light upon the land.  I declared, "It is breathtaking."  But, I thought for a while as I noticed the different shadows east of me and considered what kind of awe it was that I was experiencing.  It was more life-bringing, eyes stinging from little wells of glory, and I decided that it isn't something that steals our breath, but instead brings us new life and continued life.  It was like receiving a call on the VIP line--Creator to Creation.  There was a song I used to sing in Church and it always made my eyes well up with tears of God's glory.  The song went like this. Bear with me, I might not have it right.  Majesty.        Worship his majesty.        Unto Jesus be all glory, honor and praise............        Majesty, kingdom authority.......... Flow from His throne  unto His own, His anthem raise.

That's what I remember and that's what came to my mind as the scene before me commanded.

Well, it was all so inspiring that today, a day later, I sit here typing about it.  The air outside is chilly and coolness dances upon my kneecaps.  My elbows are resting on a cool table made of wood.  I feel it through my white crocheted sleeves.  Yet, I sit here with the window cracked because I do not wish to abandon the song of the birds. In the background, television is reporting on the Dali Lama's visit, David Gregory's challenge to President Bush, and I turned briefly to listen to both with the song of the bird's more loud than the television's soft intrusion.  David spoke of Israel sending a message to Syria via a bomb.  It made me think of a few nights back when in a political chat titled Today's News.  Chatters were challenging each other as they so often do, and as chatters chose to accuse other chatters rather than accept the challenges, they turned on those like myself who sit quietly with respect trying to see truth in all things.  Some, with perceptions of what kind of person I must be, endeavored to assault my character when it came to the subject of the United States protecting Israel.  I had said something that upset a third of those claiming to be staunch conservatives  supporting the war in Iraq against the evil liberals that want to sell America as we know it to foreign terrorists. I quietly typed in my small Verdana font that the United States wants to provoke Israel to bomb Iran so America can be justified in going to war in Iran.  I mentioned that Turkey had built a landing and opened her borders to the United States at the beginning of the Iraq war but that now they have joined Iran's cause and closed the borders to us.  I told them that Syria Turkey, and Iran had lined their borders, the northern to eastern borders of Iraq, with tanks and are making ready to go to war against the United States and coalition forces in Iraq.  Only one "conservative war supporting" chatter asked me questions.  He/She asked me why would Israel do such a thing as bomb either Syria or Iran.  I simply spoke a truth we all know.  I said, Israel through out history has faced genocide, extinction.  They have been enslaved, displaced and attacked wherever they planted their roots.  They are a small nation without protection and are surrounded by enemies.  They aren't the kind to wait to be attacked.  They will deliver the first blow because if they waited for an enemy to do so, they might not have anything left to defend themselves.  It's the bully versus playground victim mentality, only this isn't an ordinary playground and the bully's are many.  Israel cannot afford to wait for the Americas to come to their aide.  I told them that the war in Iraq is only for logistical purposes so we can baby-sit Israel's declared enemies.  The person who questioned me confessed that he/she hadn't considered that line before but is now thinking about this.  That was on Sunday, October 14, 2007.  Since then, Israel apparently sent a bomb to Syria and now we are questioning our president about this and he isn't commenting.  I decided to quit my meditation for a few moments and make a call to my friend Jenny.

Jenny said, "The United States has agitated damn near every part of the world."

I said, "Yes, and those in the Middle East have too.  That's because we are humans.  Humankind is an agitator. Agitation, aggression, hatred and warmongering is a spirit and it settles upon humankind.  Countries in this world are principalities and represent the individuals of their region.  We fight spirits and we fight against ourselves."  Then I remembered how Sunday-Monday's chat in Today's News had gone. Jenny had to get off the phone to deliver a massage treatment promising to call me back in a few hours so we could continue our musing.  Left alone with the memories from yesterday's celestial splendor, I considered how humans were not meant to live forever.  We are meant to die.  I sit here smoking another cigarette pausing to consider that perhaps we were not meant to continue through evolution as we think we are.  I spoke last week about our President's NASA Space exploration plan to every one who was patient enough to listen.  I told the chatters and others offline that our president could perhaps be nominated for the Nobel Peace prize someday if we can avoid the expected 6th extinction event.  But, now I wonder if we were meant to continue on in the future or if our species is slated to end.  It is a little past Noon o'clock and the song of the bird's has lessened.  I guess even the birds have work to do.  Still, a few remain behind to sing.  The television seems so much louder now.

I still don't know the answer to the question about whether or not we are meant to go on after extinction of our planet.  The only thing regarding today's meditation I know is that the truth about humankind belongs in our existence now because the future holds only the future truths.  All we know today, should it make it out of this earth to the home of the future, will be treated as myths from times long passed.

Dare I chance this?  Yes.  Without expectation of reciprocation, I care for you (all)
and what happens to you.  I care that you suffer and I am glad when you are glad, where ever you all may be.

Global Warming, Global Cooling: Transormation of a President by Chelle Stockman

Global Warming, Global Cooling: Transformation of a President

By Chelle Stockman

To listen to those who would challenge the awarding or even the significance of the Nobel Peace Prize, especially now that Al Gore and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change have received this coveted and unexpected award, reminds me of the strife naysayers perpetuated upon the likes of Johannes Kepler, Galileo, and other such notables who turned out to be correct in their assertions and in their delivery of facts.  It would seem that people through out history are afraid of truths, even when these truths are obvious and make better sense; because that would mean they would have to change, that they are so afraid of transformation or are too comfortable with life as they know it to honor impending change, that they'd rather decry the scientists or messengers of "new" thinking and claim them to be enemies of the church and enemies of humanity.

Al Gore may not be a Kepler, but nonetheless, he has provoked a major change, especially in President Bush who was a vocal critic of global warming trends.  When Gore and others presented Bush with the facts that signify not only global warming but support the theory that every action has an equal and opposite reaction and what that means for life as we know it, Bush sobered and began to forge new policy that is available through the NASA websites as well as the Whitehouse.gov website.

President Bush was transformed, quieted and serious; this new President began to understand what Climate Change Facts really meant and indeed, when in totality you view these changes and the supporting evidence, you would have to become quieted.

Yes, we have global warming and yes, the earth seems to get cooler at times.  Why?  First, the amount of carbons in the atmosphere keeps the temperatures near earth warmer for longer periods of time because it doesn't allow the heat to escape quite as fast into the upper atmosphere. The evidence for this begins with a more plush vegetation in areas of the world, and secondly the melting of large ice mass such as glaciers and even polar caps which leads to rising tides and warmer oceanic temperatures.

The equal and opposite reaction would be the amount of solar radiation that is lost to life on earth because of this protective barrier.  The Sun is getting larger as it ages which means the radiation reaching the Earth's surface should be drastically increasing, but instead the opposite is true due to the carbon barrier.  The Sun's rays are not able to bounce the water molecules back into the atmosphere more consistently which in turn means we have less consistent patterns of rain.  This is the most simplest way I have of stating the problems we face.  To better understand the arguments that have helped to recently change the President's attitude (as well as leaders from 16 other countries), there is a very good documentary that is available for a low cost on DVD.  It is by NOVA and is called Dimming the Sun.  That documentary presents the arguments and proofs not only for global warming trends, but also what some might call global cooling trends which are really more the about of the disappearance of global radiation.

The scientists are dismayed because if we take measures to slow the process of one, it would dangerously accelerate the other and too much of either trends means the extinction of our species as well as other species.  It is this grim picture for all humanity that has caused President Bush to turn to NASA.  In 2002, Bush began to redistribute purpose and funding from one area of NASA research to another, as well as create policy that would lay out future goals.  He also appointed a few new faces to certain high posts that had been held by others who were reliable.  This had a slight but quiet backlash from some, but since the community of scientists and astronomers is tiny when compared the average community of blue collar workers, few people were ever alerted that something was happening beneath the surface.  Our war policies and the current Iraq War kept most of us occupied and unless you were in the habit of reading science or space journals, it would have been easy to miss. But Bush, got it and has since purposed himself to get humans out into the Solar System as soon as possible.

(Currently we squawk about outsourcing our jobs and the manufacturing of goods to other countries; just imagine when the outsourcing occurs off this Earth.  Say what?? "What's this crazy woman talking about?")

Some of Bush's concerns can be found in his speech titled Vision for Space Exploration.  This speech outlined new policy and led Congress in December of 2005, to pass the NASA Authorization Act which can also be found on the Whitehouse Website. Another speech of importance is Bush's Renewed Spirit of Discovery.  I urge you all to read these speeches and if you do, you'll want to see more.  I call this path the infant stage of new direction for human life.

Bush appointee, Michael Griffin became NASA's 11th Administrator and addressed NASA in the Langley Colloquium Series/Sigma Public Lecture Series back in October of 2006.  His most telling part of the series was titled Space Exploration: Filling Up the Canvas. It simply outlines our future agenda regarding the continuance of our species in the Solar System.

Mr. Griffin compares our exploration policy to that which Thomas Jefferson laid out and Lewis and Clark carried out. To make this comparison, he quoted President Bush. "The fundamental goal of this vision is to advance U.S. scientific, economic, and security interests through a robust space exploration program."  Mr. Griffin then goes on to explain what each meant.  He corroborated the need to to adhere to a space exploration program by citing the truths professionals such as Stephen Hawking and Harrison Schmitt put forth through the NASA Advisory Council and the University of Cambridge.  The fundamental truth Bush spoke of began with Earth's history of extinction events, mentioning at least 5 such events; the last occurring some 65 million years ago which ended the Cretaceous period, or the age of dinosaurs.  Mr. Griffin concludes that portion of his speech regarding what is meant by security this way. "So in the end, human expansion into our solar system is fundamentally about the survival of the species, about ensuring better odds for our survival through the promulgation of our species.  There is no more fundamental measure of "security".

Of course, there are economic reasons which he also laid out.  I urge you all to read his speech along with President Bush's speeches.

So if some of you folks are confused as to why Al Gore and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change should be honored with the Nobel Peace Prize when people are still in their infant stage of arguing the effects of global warming, I think after you read Mr. Griffin's speech as well as Bush's speeches to NASA, you won't be confused anymore.

Sunday's Dream Journal Entry by Chelle Stockman

Many of you might recall that Lana Wolfe and Eve Rivers are people I dream of.  These people are parts of me and have interesting experiences.  Those of you who are aware of this know that these dreams seem to come true and are always glad when I turn the simple truths into fictional stories.  Lately however,  I am dreaming only of myself, but I tend to climb into the body of another and experience what they are doing along side of them.  They do not depart and I don't think they are aware of my presense.  I decided to share with you all my latest dream, because if any of this is true, it is by far one of the most interesting dreams I've had.  Bear with my amateurish writing style.  Writing a dream in the truth of how it happens is not easy to do and have it make sense, but overall, it seems to make sense to me.  See if you agree.

Dream Journal Entry Date

Aboard an aircraft at or above the Stratosphere
Scene:
Screens and systems to monitor bodily functions
comfortable seating

People seen in immediate settings:
male assistants in suits
one wealthy handsome man
female in some kind of high-tech jump suit

At some point 2 A.M.-ish, I entered the body of a female in a parachuting type of jumpsuit.  She was about my age, but I couldn't be too sure.  The following recording of this dream I left my body for, is a mix of my perceptions and the perceptions of the woman whose body I entered.

For practical purposes in recording of the dream, "I = She".  That is, I shall record from my perceptions as though they were hers and I'll refer to her or she from "his", that is the wealthy man's POV.  That's the best I can do under this urgent spell of the dream.

He is some kind of powerful man, more powerful that a government hit-man, and far better connected than any other man of this earth.  He is a "Big Daddy" type which I'll explain as I get into the dream itself.  He is very well groomed, handsome even but not so I or she would notice because he also possessed a serious deadliness about him, especially at this time.  While he is powerful and quietly controlling, few of those he surrounded himself with could actually read him, except me because rumor has it that I/she could also be his opposition. Those who subscribed to his services, while viewing him as a threat, feared him more than the evil poops they hired out for their own protection.

This man has it all, holds it all and at anytime can bring to an end the evil enterprises of his competition. Even some of those he hired in trust feared him on the outside chance they should ever double-cross him. He takes care of those who work for him and at the very least, he has their complete trust. His people are the best and the competition has sought to eradicate some of those who have worked for him in the past, hoping to learn of his trade secrets.

As for his family, he has holdings world wide, mostly in business related to aviation and navigation, satellite configuration, etc. As I said, he is the "Big Daddy". His many children are his well attended holdings, his youngest being an exceptional navigational instruments company that is yet, undiscovered by the government goons of this world.  This family of his are well cared for and his returns are vast.

They specialize in every related industry and have one main enemy, that being those who manipulate enterprise and control the masses of civilians on earth.  Companies like Diebold, AccuVote, Certegy and even the USA's FTC are large opponents of his. He won't ever subscribe to their practices though they have done everything to court his cooperation in their plans, including the International Space Program. He will never adopt any of their type into his family because they have no financial conscience, suffer greatly from moral ineptitude, and exploit the poor globally.  The street wise urbanized folks call his enemies, "one mean bitch."

That's pretty much the gist of his character; now as for the woman whose body I entered, I figure I must have had something in common to be so incredibly linked with her; for she dialogs with this man and I am not sure I understand what it is all about. Note that I, Chelle Stockman of Image Quest, know absolutely nothing about parachuting, jumping from high places, or landing. So this dream of mine is sure to have inaccuracies, not only because my own spirit inside this woman's body along side her spirit has influenced my own perceptions, but also because of my lack of experience in anything remotely related to skydiving.

So there I was, in a plane with my own personal landing gear strapped to my back.

His body language resonated with intentions I didn't have the time to understand.  I was the only who was chuted up which meant, I'd be the only to leave the aircraft.  I looked into his eyes and they betrayed nothing. So as he was speaking with some others, I chose to interrupt.  I thought this all had to happen and it would happen at my choosing, not the choosing by another.  With anticipation I said my goodbyes, my hands double-checking my odd headgear ( like none I'd ever seen on other jumpers) as though I were carefully checking my hairdo.  I said, "So this is it."  I smiled my most knowing smile and said, "See ya on the other side."

They all seemed to straighten in attention but their eyes simply revealed nothing of significance to me. So I jumped.  For a brief millisecond, I thought that because I hadn't packed my own landing gear (no recollection of having done so), I couldn't blame a soul when I hit the ground.  No siree, blame, like me, was out the door.

The sound of angels whizzed by my ears and what I heard made me glad, it was as it should be was all I could think. Sounds are important.

His voice came from inside my headgear. "You should have packed your own landing gear."

I said nothing.

"Imagine," he said, "living long enough to anticipate the ground as your face prepares to greet it."

"You are right about the anticipation, but that's all behind me now.  Did you know that the blues, browns, and greens betray their bounty? Kind of like the eyes to our souls.  Ya know?"   Colors are important and plentiful.

Now for the first time in a long time, he found himself willing to hear what he hadn't anticipated. He listened absorbed in the details as she was thinking (me too) that it was all so beautiful, magnificent really. "Breathtaking Jon."  I called him by his name which is spelled in my new mind a little differently than John. "You should see this."  An eternity seemed to pass in a moment, truly a twinkling of the eye.

He listened, forgetting for a moment to check the screens that monitored my/her bodily functions, then staying true to his carefully crafted persona, he asks, "So, this predicament means so little to you?" (the me inside her wasn't sure what to think--was he an enemy or was she an enemy, they both seemed a little familiar with each other)  "Any final thoughts?"

"Peace. Peace, Jon, has a bounty that can be felt when time spills." (I was thinking 'when time stands still.')."May you know such peace, Jon."   I thought at first that she was wry in a sick humor of one who was about to die, but then I wondered because of the level of peace I felt inside her.  Was she in love with him for allowing her to have this opportunity?  Silly stuff for me to be thinking at a time like this. It was almost as though her words were an elixir of appreciation or love.  At any rate, he relaxed for a moment and it was as though he were a tad enamored with her, what, because she is such a brave woman?  I could detect him wondering about her character but his eyes simply didn't change, not so that anyone standing in his presence could ever notice.

He, from the steely protection he stood within, glanced at the screens registering bodily functions. She wasn't at all agitated like her predecessors had been.  For a moment, he considered the idea that everyone had a compatible counterpart.  But not to be diverted from the mission at hand, he asked, "Not concerned in the least are you?"

She quietly laughed and said, "No accusations can touch me here.  This moment belongs only to me and I choose to share it only with you."  (Guess that neither of them knew that I was present.)  The way I figured it, I would enjoy the beauty of it for however long I could.  I mean, what had he expected anyway? Did he expect me/she to come undone and cry like a baby? Is he disappointed with me/us? Then I felt the air, warm, so hot, and cold, cold as it was hot, a cold that was hot, like a freezer type of burning but only for a moment, how strange. Temperature is important.

"Jon?  Have you ever felt the temperatures burn around you while in flight, the warm and cold air competing?"

"You act as though you never have."

"Honestly, until now, I haven't. I cannot even recall descending this fast.  It is as though the faster I go, time comes to a halt."

Her read-outs showed her to be consistently calm, which comforted me as I was along for the ride without notice.  No upswings or sudden drops of her neurotransmitters.

"Had you packed your chute, you would be pulling your chord in the next two seconds."

"No time for that now, Jon."

At that moment, a roar, a whoosh, a hand from Heaven yanked me/us to a new level of thinking.  So Jon hadn't meant for me/us to die- yet.  She said, "Wow, now this is a rush."

Indeed she was telling the truth as the screens revealed.  She was flooded with seratonin. Her predecessors who hadn't suffered heart failure all displayed a sudden drop of seratonin.  He knew from the beginning of this mission that she was not ordinary.  She is the 1st (of his opponents?) to capture his curiosity, in fact, she is the 1st human being ever to do so.

"So, this is what it is like.  I mean, other than in my wildest dreams, I never thought I'd ever be doing this."

He was considering the conversation she freely offered to him.  Conversation was something he always purchased.  She offered him her confidence, her trust and she did not accuse him.  (are they enemies or partners?) They simply oppose each other from time to time and though she constantly has interfered with his plans, he hadn't done away with her. Maybe that was because every time she did interfere, he had profited without calling attention to himself and without the loss of life.

"Are you going to give me any landing advice or am I on my own?"  I got nervous for a moment then realized she was making some kind of sick joke, or was she; didn't matter, she was calm and I was merely a witness.  At that moment, her chute disintegrated, a quickie type of fire then poof, not even an atom remained and thankfully, a second chute deployed.  Phew, she was a lucky gal.  This isn't at all the way I'd seen things on television.

Her vitals registered a subtle change- surprise.  She can be surprised--good to know.  (surprised that her design or was it his design, either way was she surprised it seemed to work or that maybe he saw to it that it would work, dunno.)

I was beginning to understand him a little, though he didn't change his mood, his voice seemed almost mocking, "Tug the left chord to steer left and the right to steer right.  The rest you'll have to figure out."   I began thinking, Okay, she has it under control, piece of cake.  Maybe that is because I wanted her to survive this so much and maybe I was being a little romantic and wanted her to live to see him at another time and make him fall in love with her.  I'm sappy that way sometimes.

We landed in a huge area, that from the sky looked larger than a natural preserve with a damn or reservoir and at that hour, no one was around.  From the sky just prior to landing,  we saw a point of exit from the area to our south.  Getting the gear off proved to be laborious, but hey, we landed!  She lives!--me too.  Before removing her head gear, she just had to speak to this Jon, one more time.

"You still there, Jon?"

"I'm somewhere."

"Just wanted to say thanks for the lift."

And with that, she removed her outfit and severed their contact.  Meanwhile, Jon while discussing unrelated events with those in the aircraft, seemed to purpose himself to forever keep an eye on her.

I woke up.

I discovered the closest person to fit this character I inhabited, to be a woman named Cheryl Sterns.  I have nothing in common with her.  Well, she is 46,  I am 49.   She is C.S  so am I.  She is on StratoQuest and I have a salon called Image Quest.  Outside that, I cannot fathom why I'd enter her body.

Duplicitous Republican Representatives

Yeah, its another week of media sponsored bat guana.  O.J. got out on bail, that lucky bastige but there is always the newsworthy advertisement of MoveOn.org.  Boy, the media and congress must surely love MoveOn, the way they pay them homage.

Ya know, the Republican representatives have been mighty busy this week denouncing the moderately left website calling what MoveOn did to General Patreaus irreprehensible. They said the Democrats failed to denounce MoveOn, forgetting that this is a free-market country where advertisers are free to advertise and newspapers are about the advertising dollars before they are a readership. These same Republicans sat silently when the not so Swift-Boaters smeared another decorated soldier, Senator John Kerry.  They did nothing except they defended the wimp running on their ticket who had no record of servitude other than enlistment.  These Republicans are the same as the wimp they elected.  That's all for now.

How Shall We Be Changed? Questions by Chelle Stockman

So many things could be made better in my opinion.  For one, I'd like people to not feel uncomfortable around one another anymore. I mean, because of race, gender, habits, etc, I wish people wouldn't commit so many atrocious acts.  I wish we didn't have to be so puritanical around sexuality, nor do I wish for us to be so blatant and even perverted.  I wish television commercials didn't try to sell us sickness because they have a new drug they want us to pay for.

I wish men didn't have such a terrible problem with erectile dysfunction, women to have such a problem with restless legs, with leakage during laughter and coughing spells, with people having every kind of addiction, which requires these new designer drugs that employ actors in commercials in hope that we shall subscribe not only to these problems, but also to their many awful side-effects that also require new designer drugs to combat.  I wish instead, pharmeceutical companies would bring us anti-hate remedies and anti-war pills, anti-fossil fuel dependency pills, etc.  But then, that would be witchcraft, wouldn't it?

I wish people wouldn't rely upon graphs and charts to state their case because the use of those charts have always been manipulated by those wishing to make a point-especially companies wanting to sell us designer drugs insurance companies don't pay for, dependency on resources that ultimately lead us to war, and half truths that keep us in one war or another, without regard for basic human life.  I wish no Bush or Cheney existed to sell us hate and fear and the idea that some how our lives are more important than those they want us to erradicate. I wish no other devils like Bush and Cheney would take their place as they fade into meaningless conversations of the all too easily manipulated masses. I wish humans understood the difference between minding their own business and helping the innocent, and I wish they would do what the situation required to either allow folks to handle their own problems without interference, especially when they don't ask for that help anyway; and I wish people would admit that when people are having their homes bombed, their marketplaces blown to smithereens, and their children and loved ones tortured, and made dead, I wish they'd realize that this is not kind, it is mean and it is useless, a product of manipulation and evil and that instead, these victims need our help, not our hate or apathy.

I wish the congress and senators would address each issue alone and seperate from all other issues, one at a time, after careful consideration of what we the people ask of them while weighing them out with their own findings from their own research, not the research from those with pie charts and graphs. I wish there wasn't destruction of this earth and I wish there were no murder and no need for weapons.  If I could change any one of these things I would, but I am, at least in my thinking, unequipped to change each and every one of these things and others like them.

As I was considering the level of frustration that was entering into me while I was doing an absorbtion meditation, I told myself, I can choose to not be so affected.  The Sun brightened through the clouds and its beauty touched me deeply as it seemed to pass through me and dance upon the earth.  It occured to me, that the Sun does what it does, it behaves only like a Sun and it isn't something we should interfere with, while the Earth, when allowed to, behaves as Earth should and that we should do whatever we can to not interfere with this process as we maintain our lives.  At that moment, something happened to me and I got filled with peace.

Then it occured to me that we people of this earth have others we either elect or those who appoint themselves to do our bidding, to represent us, and to serve us. We cry foul when these representatives fail us and lately, all we can do is argue amongst ourselves about which representatives are dishonest and which are honest.  But you know, our representatives are people too.  Some are not evolved in the way of kindness.  Some are highly interfering in the lives of other human beings.  Some actually care and do their very best to keep their promises.  Not one is perfect.  Not one represents us perfectly, not so any of us would notice.  You know why that is?  They are human beings and they are human beings who are on their own life's path, a path that will hopefully lead them in the light of truth to wisdom.  They are humans just as we are.  So why is it we need them to do for us what we are unwilling or unable to do?

There is no doubt in my mind, that things need to change, that situations like the fiasco in Iraq must change, that our practices here on Earth need to change; but what I do know to be true, is that no matter how much we discuss solutions or who it is we should be blaming, not one of us can change anything or anyone but ourselves and those changes begin with changing the way we think.  Only then can any of us be transformed.  We don't live in an impossible world.  We live in a world of change; may we soon choose change for the sake of transformation instead of profits.  Amen

Credit Card Legacy, Inflation/Deflation, Consumer Manipulation by Chelle Stockman

You know, sometimes a subject can be researched so much that any point you wanted to make originally could get lost in the universe of TMI (too much information).  I began researching the history of credit cards for a lot of reasons, but the most important reason I had for doing so was because I was sure that the over availability of credit cards was responsible for the escalating cost of goods and services. Unfortunately, what I found was a ton of information that lead to a largely unregulated global market that most blame for the lack of good paying jobs in their immediate areas.  That's not where I wanted to focus my attention. So I'll just tell you what I think and let you all agree or disagree without having to do any research--just allow your own experience to determine how you think.

When I was a kid, I didn't know one person who had a Visa or Mastercard, but that was in the late 50s and early 60s (1900's).  Goods in America were made in America unless you went to a fancy out of the way foreign store.  Those were special and the goods, depending on quality were higher in price because they were not readily available, except in little Italys, Chinatowns, etc., in which case they would be much more affordable. So how did a large family with one adult working buy their clothes, their fabric to make clothes and such hard goods?  Well first of all, stores like Hartfords, J.C. Pennys, Sears and Roebucks, etc. were affordable, but for those on a budget, they offered a Lay-a-way program.  This allowed everyone to do their shopping in advance, pay a little at a time until everything was paid, and this was such a cool way of doing things.  No one went into debt to have their seasonal needs met.  This was a truly American concept that was very helpful and kept more Americans within their budget.

When Visa really began to take off in the mid 60s, just 10 years after their introduction, Mastercard joined in on the available credit programs.  One by one, stores quit offering lay-a-way and more and more Americans became addicted to the credit card cycle.  Suddenly, people didn't have to wait for their goods, they could have them right now and worry about paying for them later.  You just knew each time a store began offering their own credit cards, they would soon do away with the lay-a-way program and sure enough, that's exactly what happened and still happens.

Because Americans suddenly became needy in a "must have it right now" kind of way, credit card companies made it possible for corporations to double and triple in size and charge more for their goods, which they in turn blamed it all on an antiquated supply and demand principle stemming from the late 1800's. Credit Card companies think of themselves as the saviors of capitalism, meanwhile, those who got themselves into a pickle see them as more of a dark blemish that won't go away.  The more in debt you are, the more higher your interest rates go, unless you are a corporation in good standing.

When 9/11 happened our president asked us to go shopping.  Just how were we supposed to do that? Credit cards, that's how.

Now we have the housing market fiasco and a growing identity theft problem, most of it caused by our use of credit cards!  Say what?  I can hear some of you now, "That's a stretch, Chelle, even for you."  But, dig this.  To qualify for a home loan, you need a good credit score which depends predominantly on your available credit/debt ratio and your payment history.  More people have credit card history than they do a home loan history.  It's the same thing when you take out an auto loan; you must have a good credit history to qualify for a lower interest auto loan. Credit card companies report your private information to the credit bureaus which are private entities and they in turn determine your credit worthiness or the lack thereof.  Their practices and ineptitudes are not fully disclosed to the public yet they are the Jesus connecting you, the needy consumer, to the corporate gods.  Now we pay more for our property and more for our transportation and it will keep going up, up, up because they all want to feed their bottom lines.  Who cares if those that "qualify" can really handle the debt?

As a result, we have an astronomical fiasco in home foreclosures as well as a fast growingenterprise in vehicle repossession.  So, who is bailing these greedy lenders out of their zealous losses?  We are, through the federal government.  Who is floating our Federal Government?  Foreigners like China.

The way I see it, it was no accident that most of our industries located their manufactoring in China.  They have deplorable environmental standards and terrible ethics regarding human life, plus, they are communists just ripe for infecting with capitalism.  Once most of our ducks are driving their economy, we can poison the products coming from them and blame them for it thus breaking their economy and reclaiming our rights to our property, leaving them broken and dependent upon us instead of the other way around.  Who would ever suspect us for behaving in such an evil way?  After all, everyone knows China doesn't care about the environment or human life, right?  No one would dare ever suspect that American and Western corporations would be behind any of this, right? They are the saints who came to offer the Chinese a better way of life, right?

It all began with the over availability of credit cards and the only way to cure this problem is to refuse to subscribe to lending practices, even home loans.  You can't afford it, you don't get it.   People will turn to each other for help as they once did, and you know what?  No corporation would control elections, our happiness, or our governments ever again.  Problem is, I have no faith in the rest of you folks.  You are too needy.  You want it right now.  So, we bought the future of our grandchildren.  Trouble is, we can't afford it.  That's all for now.

Pakistan, Iran's Protector? Bhutto, Beautiful but Deadly? Chelle Stockman

When  Senator Joe Lieberman of Connecticut asked General David Patreaus about Iran and inquired how soon we will be able to go there, I nearly fell off the couch where I had been reclining.  I couldn't believe my ears.  This is the third time I've heard Senator Lieberman inquire with an unappealing zeal as to when we shall go to Iran, as if it is a known and accepted reality.  Mind you, the senator was supposed to be asking the General about the surge and possible pull-out of Iraq.

But you know, it kind of makes sense when you weigh it against the fact that Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, a political bed partner of G.H.W. Bush (41) back in the late 80s, has announced that she intends to come out of exile.  Do any of you recall the Bhuttos?  One was assassinated back in the late 70s when I was in college and dreaming of becoming a therapist that used movement through dance.  I wanted to volunteer in the peace corp in those days--such an idealist.  I do recall a Bhutto being assassinated and it was horrible.  I only knew this because my intellectual buddies all spoke of it but the newspapers that did report it didn't report it as my friends had.  Years later, it turned out that Americans had been manipulated and my friends were more accurate but also not entirely correct.   They could not see back then that Bhutto's daughter, Benazir would one day lead Pakistan and promote more freedoms for women and those under a slightly off kilter practice of the Islamic religion. Nor could they have predicted that she would become a close pal to the USA and Great Britain.  They couldn't have known that a woman would help to kill the Soviet Union while gladly leaving the United States all the glory.  But true to those who practice the Islamic Faith (not religion but faith), she had always been up front with those she dealt with. Every polite and casual conversation she had with those shesought the help of, was a fatwah in a sense.

She even warned us that the US would suffer a major retaliation for their hand in aiding her but she did it so casually, it went unheeded.  There is nothing in their religion that says they must declare things with fire and brimstone or a secretive note.  Nope, that isn't her style.  She is a woman, and a very intelligent woman.  She is a daughter who will have revenge.  Those who are responsible for her father's death had better look out and I'm sure that some faction of the US and also of Britain were involved, no matter what news sources may have said.  I'm sure of it.

Consider that Zia Ul Huq/ Zia ul-Haq, a fundamentalist Mullah, was considered to be responsible for her father's death but that later after he was elected and changed the country forever, he and his aides were killed in an airplane crash.  Back in those days, planes made an easy way to dispose of those you wanted gone.

She had warned Bush 41 that because he empowered the extremist Muhajadeen to help them in a jihad against the Soviet Union, the Muhajadeen would grow in power and would one day become our enemy.  Now why would she say something like this so casually to one who helped her with her jihad?  Well, you see, to declare a fatwah, you must warn your declared enemy or more appropriately, the enemy of the cause of Allah.  She fulfilled this.

Important history

Benazir Bhutto was the wealthiest powerful female in the Islamic nation and Osama bin Laden was one of the most wealthiest and most power males.  Both were involved with the jihad against Soviet Union and both had formed a relationship with George Herbert Walker Bush.  Bush comes from a long line of powerful and wealthy aristocrats, particularly those from Connecticut and Joe Lieberman is a Senator there.

I predict, a blood bath in the territories of bin Laden and Bhutto. I predict a lot of talk that gets us to want to retaliate and I predict that now, we shall see more tragedy unfold, maybe that rivals that of 9/11.

Why are the wealthy and powerful doing this to us? Why are they tearing out the hearts of the people of this world?  Why are they manipulating us?   Why do they sleep with each other politically and financially speaking, only to declare each other enemies?   Why can't they go fight this out amongst themselves and let the rest of the people of this world do what we ought to be doing, living and loving? Why do we the people of this world protect them above ourselves?  Why do we do their bidding and spill our blood for their hatred, lies, and falsely interpreted religious doctrines?

To Anyone Who Still Gives a Damn by Chelle Stockman

I am not flirtacious but since when does the average person care about truth? Anyway, below is a post I did today on my blog off the blogstream.com site.

 Bin Laden Sham

By Chelle Stockman

First of all, I haven't been online for a long time due to events requiring my attention offline. That being said, I have some questions to ask of you folks. Do any of you find it odd that the news is putting on crap once again? Do any of you wonder why news programs exist other than to put out garbage? Do any of you still believe what comes across the airwaves???

I suspect there is an agenda that corporations (advertisers, sponsors, etc.)put forth through our so called news stations. These programs put out crap 24/7--the same thing over and over and over...

Last night they began their Osama (usama) bin Laden warnings about this evil man who wants to kill you and you and even you and God forbid, you too. Osama's popularity contest is temporarily overshadowed by a picture of a mother whose daughter went missing some months ago while crowds booed her. It would seem everything hinges on blood found in a rental. We shall never hear the truth but I betcha fiction writers can give us an ending, happy or otherwise. Then we are on to more bin laden stuff. We are supposed to be angered by the allegations that the mom of Madeline killed her own daughter in a campaign of hate against frustrated and heartbroken parents meanwhile we are supposed to live in a darkened fear that bin Laden has ordered yet another hit upon your head, my head and yes, your head, too.

I hadn't heard that he had forgiven us for our willingness to allow inconsiderate corporations to lead us to war, to allow us to rape lands for resources and displace indigenous folks; nor have I heard that he has forgiven us for our usury practices, adulterous propaganda and for having females as flight attendants on airlines. Has he lifted that fatwah against us? If so, then maybe this latest warning has some meaning but I am not buying it.

Why are they giving this man any more credit? I mean, he seems to hate everything we do, everything we stand for and everything we haven't got the courage to stand for like the things we put on to paper but don't actually subscribe to. You know what I mean, like our constitution for instance. Don't you think one fatwah says it all? I mean, how many fatwahs does he have to declare against us to be taken seriously? "I promise to send you to your deaths." Okay, so he has promised to kill us. One promise is enough but come on now, 3 is an "over kill." Look, if we captured this dude, the entire Islamic nation would be on us like vultures on a corpse. We could have killed him long ago and we did not. The news of a promise to hear from him on the anniversary of 9/11 is not news to us. It's not even good tabloid stuff for entertainment. It is merely bait for a fish that doesn't exist.

So, my suspicions fall upon the corporate driven media we are all beholden to for something that at least resembles the daily news. I ask of them, what are you not telling us that you should be shoveling your crap upon us yet another day in another week in a long decade of bullshit.

I used to respect jounalists but those who can still claim that watered-down moniker have fled to underground reporting. I say this because my observations since Bill's cigar fiasco with a Beverly Hills mother's daughter turned whore in a White House aides cap, has had me scratching my head. Remember the money Ken Starr cost Americans when he went after the Clintons? How many millions did it cost us to locate nothing more than a tiny little Cuban that was a tad naughty and led to the soiling of a chubby girl's dress? We should have been outraged. But alas, in retrospect, it was just a preview of things to come and voila, we are in Iraq, destroying a lot more than lives we never cared about in the first place.

I'm done with television. I'm done with advertisers. I can think for myself without having to be manipulated by these bottom line dwellers.

So we shall hear from bin Laden, big deal. Then what will they use to keep us from the truth; Terry Schiavo's brain will come alive again?

That's it. I've vented, and I ask of you who use your own brain instead of Ms. Schiavo's, please don't buy into this crap.

Missing my Mother-n-law by Chelle Stockman

I began the laundry as I so often do on Sundays.  Our Maytag Front loader was something I wanted in order to help my sons do their own laundry and to make things easier on my mother-n-law.  She used to work so hard to help keep our house in order while I worked.  As years went by her stamina diminished and then all those things were to make my life easier since it would fall upon me to do what Mom was once able to do. Once the newness of our washing/drying unit wore off, the laundry fell upon Mom and myself.  Tons of laundry especially from my youngest who changed clothes 4 times a day (school, sports, work and "looking good for the ladies").

Today, I as I transferred a load from the washer into the dryer, thoughts of Mom flooded me and tears filled my eyes to the brim.  I miss her.  I have her ashed inside an urn that I have in what was her bedroom.  It is now the place where I go to think, to read, and to meditate.  I'll bead earrings once I have a little work table in there.  Her urn sits flat and is a tiny table for a rock and candle display near the corner windows she used to stare out of.

I'm the only female now. Its more lonely than it used to be.  For now, I'm stuck in sadness and feel somewhat handicapped as I go through each day.  I have to learn to be me again; either that, construct a new me of who I am to be.

I miss ya Mom Laverne.

Halliburton and US commerce with Iran: Accountable Policy SR-253 by Chelle Stockman

Accountable Policy  SR-253 by Chelle Stockman

On the premise that Iran is sponsoring acts of terrorism, which we have no proof of at this time, the senate stated this morning that the goal is to prevent Iran from proliferating nuclear weapons and force them to stop aiding and abetting terrorist activities.

Other nations like Syria are just as much of a threat, if not more of one; and according to the panelists being interviewed (Ms. Sherry William-Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Halliburton & Mr. Thompson -NYC Comptroller & Mr. Victor Comras-Attorney and Consultant Special Counsel to Eren Law Firm), awareness is being created in the American Companies doing business in Iran, but also awareness needs to be created in investors, most particularly the blue collar investors such as firefighters and police agencies regarding their pension plans.  Apparently, investments made by Americans are funding terrorism and terrorist acts in the Middle East without their knowlege.

Foreign subsidiaries are controlled by the corporations but the parent corporations claim they act independently and they should be absolved of being held accountable for the actions of their subsidiaries that are doing business on foreign soil.  Companies such as Halliburton assert that they are conducting business properly under current United States domestic and foreign policy. Halliburton also says they aren't going to do business through foreign subsidiaries, yet they have moved their own headquarters to Dubai

The contradictions coming out of Halliburton alone are appalling.  Several questions remained unanswered, especially pertaining to Dick Cheney's current involvement with the company which was to have been terminated upon his taking the vice-presidency.

My thoughts go something like this and note: they are merely my thoughts.  Yeah, some of us still think for ourselves without being told how to think. In today's session, GE came out smelling like a rose.  You see, they pulled out of doing business in Iran. This looks good on the surface, but in the past month, GE has been advertising desalination services for the treatment of water, which is something that France is known for, but Iran has perfected.  Iran has to use Uranium to do it and they have found a way to reuse the waste (actinoids) which requires re-enrichment, which in turn gives us the right to scream foul because everyone knows that if someone is enriching uranium, they are a threat and at the very least a proliferator (gwbush and pals say this), which in turn will take us to the war these corporations desire.

Did ya get that?  There is a lot more to this and a few years back, I wrote a huge piece about Iran and Nuclear Energy.  I had to go to some physicists who specialize in nuclear energy for my information because the subject is a difficult one for this little hairdresser to absorb.  Some laymen asked me why Iran would use nuclear energy when they had all the oil.  Well, for creating drinking water out of salty ocean water, oil is highly polluting and the water carries an odor not appetizing to the palate.  But furthermore, nuclear energy can now be reused, is far cleaner, and is less likely to bring a fossil fuel sucking war  to your soil for the purposes of invasion; at least that is what Iran originally thought.

I'm not saying Iran is innocent.  Thing is, I've seen no reason for them to be guilty as a threat to America. I've written much about our wars being built upon the need to privatize all energy sources, not just oil.  And what do I see while watching HGTV?  I see a pleasant almost aphrodisiac of a commercial from GE, you know, the folks who bring good things to light.  What were they advertising?  The virtues of drinking waters being treated with desalination(desalinization) processes.

My thought is that companies like GE will keep investors appeased at their noble withdrawel out of the middle east and supporting furthur sanctionsagainst countries like Iran.  This ultimately leads us to war.  That is how sanctions typically work.  It is the, "hey, we'll fix you and once you are no longer a threat for real, we shall invade ya." Dick Cheney once announced that to go to war with those who could defend themselves would be foolish. (break the backs of the country first and once they are weak then ya can invade, right?) So the companies like Halliburton who are strategically situated in Dubai, they will be ready to glean the profits typically garnished during times of war.  Praise the untaxed American Dollar!! Glory-Glory!

One final thought: If we are so concerned with Iran possibly investing in terrorist activities and we are internationally calling for sanctions and actions to prevent them from doing this, how shall we hold the typical American middle income earner who invests in the forms of pension plans equally accountable?

That's all for now.

Fiction: Truth On Display

I logged on fully intending to visit the folks who hang out in the news chats.  I've been thinking about how we have collectively evolved over the past two years.  In 2004, we were quite polarized in views.  Then 2005 arrived and with it, I think we began to really listen to one another.  My intention tonight was to remind folks of how far we have come and that if we keep this up, we will find our selves unified.

But, I got sidetracked as I so often do.  The AOL Welcome screen caught my eye, which it rarely does.  It said, "Quake Raises WWII Ship From Sea Floor".  Suddenly, the fiction writer in me emerged. I allowed a vision to enter and entertained it along the many winding and twisted paths that my fictional mind so often does. I truly embraced this thought process because so much of these past few years has been lived in my critical thinking mind.  The balance between critical thinking and fictional visions has been sporadic and I've missed the more whimsical side of my imagination.

The Truth: Quake Raises WWII Ship From Sea Floor

Astral Truth:  Admetos, an asteroid for the past year has been working to cough things up that were thought to be long since buried as well as sending others below ground, even to their deaths.  This is an aspect that emboldens truth.  In other words, truths shall surface that were carefully drowned or buried.  Meanwhile others who appear to be insignificant, shall be buried revealing the truths about those who are responsible.  It will be up to everyone else to seek retribution and hold those responsible accountable as is the case in the coal mining travesties, but also, the World Trade Centers.

2nd Astral Truth: Neptune is on the run from his father, Saturn, who does not want the authoritarian truths to get out because Saturn thinks the power of truth should only be dispensed by him and only when he dictates.  Neptune hides out  and blends in.  Whenever Saturn seeks to kill his own son (truth) deception creates a fog, making the discerning of truths more challenging. But, look out.  When Neptune isin the clear, the truths will shake things up.

Considering all these things from a purely fictional standpoint, I remember how a year ago, or more, I made a list of the Neo-Cons that made the Nazis exploiting the "good Germans" look delicate when compared to them. Karl Rove and Dick Cheney were in the top spots.  The list had over 50 key players in this push for "compassionate" globalization.  I lit a black candle and prayed that the truths surrounding their actions would come to light.  Then I buried the list in the ground.  Ever since then, all kinds of truths are coming out little by little and these people are struggling to cover them up; meanwhile, the citizens are waking up and beginning to unite in their need for truthful answers.

So, when the quake shaking the ship loose entered my imagination, I saw lies that sunk that ship.  What an interesting story I could write about it, from a purely fictional standpoint of course.   That's all for now.

I'm going into the chats, as I first intended to do.

Enjoy your weekend folks!

Gunning Down the Constitution by Chelle Stockman

Gunning Down the Constitution by Chelle Stockman

Sticks and stones, bows and arrows, guns and ammunition of every kind; take it all away and what comes next?  IEDs and homemade rocket launchers? Grenades and car bombs?  Is this what we want for ourselves?

Look, we have rights to protect ourselves not so much to protect ourselves from criminals, but more to protect ourselves from out of control governmental enforcers and militias and from anyone who invades our territories.  Those who think guns should be a thing of the past forget that history repeats itself and shall do so even as the faces of invading agency changes.

They seem to forget how the law enforcement agencies were responsible for the deaths in Birmingham and in Watts back in the 60s, as innocents were trampled, batoned and shot during stone throwing riots. Then there was the Ruby Ridge Massacre of 1992, perpetuated by Federal Agents.  Let us not forget the Davidian Compound.  Don't think it can happen here?  It did happen to them and on American soil by American agencies; it can happen to any and all Americans anywhere in the United States.

The right to bear arms was never meant to protect us from those who are mentally ill. The mentally ill belong in a confined and consistently stable society.  That doesn't describe the America we live in which was co-founded on chaos. But the Cho incident belongs in the health care discussions, not discussions pertaining to the Bill of Rights.

To disarm society and have it be fair, you'd have to also disarm the agencies.  In today's chaotic world where people are walking the precipice of anger and fear, I  suggest we do not disarm ourselves.  The massacres that occurred at the hands of those we ought to be able to trust for societal protection were perpetuated by fully armed agents, granted full authority, tinged with paranoia and power--a most deadly combination.

Before you consider nullifying the rights of the average citizen, think about this saying that I found on a bumper sticker.  "My gun has killed less people than Ted Kennedy's Car."

There are beauty pageants.  There are awards shows where folks get to deck out in finery; you know, to see but more importantly, to be seen.  Then there are those who are responsible for caring about the appearance of their clients, like me, a hair styling color specialist.

I've worked on stage, behind stage, and in various salons in the Western states. There are colleagues who are hyper critical of those they consider style setters and jet setters.  They will exclaim in jubilant flamboyance, "She is absolutely fabulous!" Or, they might turn their snotty noses up in mocking disdain and declare, "That's a look that crashed."

Recently, I was asked by another stylist who found the lives of those carved by the media an important issue to be discussed, "You never watch the awards? What about pageants, you never watch those?"

My response was, "Sometimes to see the evening gowns.  I like to get ideas about how fabric is used. But I don't look to the stars to set trends for my clients, because each individual must set their own style."

He was totally amazed.  He said, "Well, you miss out on all the fun.  Some of the styles are so horrendous, you wonder how they leave their house looking like that but you also miss out on new ideas."

I responded, "I don't look at the appearance of people critically, but I do look at their character critically.  It is the character of the person that determines what kind of style they shall leave with, not the appearance of some star that looks as though her hair was made of pasta, or some ornate up-do that triples the size of her head against the landscape of her tiny body, or the flatness of her hair that makes her head look like a tiny apple on top of a wooden beam."

He thought for a time as he sipped his cognac and said to me, "What is it you do for a living?"

I told him, "I breathe."

Death

Early Tuesday morning, just after midnight, I ventured into a news chat room.  I visited a few of them over the course of a few hours.  In the first, they were pondering as to why a gunman would shoot so many people.  They debated whether or not it was over a love tryst.  One gent said the fellow was Chinese.  I had heard he was Asian and not necessarily Chinese.  In fact, I thought he might be Korean.  Why?  I got a flash of the Korean man who set himself on fire at the WTO summit in Mexico back in 2003 or 2004.  It was tragic.  This fellow wanted to show the world that the free trade agreements, the WTO and IMF involvements were a move towards globalized slavery by which economies could easily be manipulated in sudden power plays.  The Mexicans had just had their corn crop killed by Bush as Bush ordered our corn farmers to accept a penny to the dollar and dump their crops on the Mexican market just before their harvest time.  Of course  the world got to watch this Korean man die.

As the chatters kept chatting I had another flash only this time it took me to South America where a group of nefarious terrorists known as the Shining Path (combination of Maoist and Islamic protestors) wreaked havoc upon the indigenous people.  It was rumored that the CIA monitored their activities and may have funded many of them in order to get some American Corporations into South America without the dissent of the natives there.  Such companies were Shell and Bechtel.  In fact, I wrote a book (still unedited after all these years) titled Beyond The Mattress and it began in the area where the Shining Path ruled.  According to the CIA, they were effectively erradicated but I remember thinking, "no, they are only sleeping."

I wonder if this young Korean man, this shooter at Virginia Tech, had another message that went above his love for this girl on campus as we are currently being told by our American news media.  I wonder if we shall ever hear the real truth.   That's all.

Veto Woes by Chelle Stockman

Veto Woes by Chelle Stockmamn (short version)

I am disheartened by this latest proposal coming out of Congress.  Why? Well, if you are committed to defunding a military plan that is running auk, why on earth would you put homeland security problems, natural disaster problems, homeland economic woes created from bioengineering products, homeland pollution disaster problems, and so much more into a bill that is supposed to represent our actions in the Middle East?
When I first read some of the so called pork in this bill, I recognized the issues they funneled into it as being leftovers from previous years--unfinished business. My first gut reaction was that they lacked sincerity and this bill was nothing more than political posturing.  How could a bill that you say you want passed for all the right reasons be ladled with stuff that has nothing to do with the war in Iraq?  That was my reasoning when I first reviewed the composition of this bill.
Now, I'm angry.  The things they ladled into this bill are important issues and deserve measures and bills of their own.  They shouldn't be filed into other bills that have nothing to do with the problems they seek to nullify. To me, a mere simpleton, I simply do not understand why Congress and all representatives from local levels to the higher federal levels, cannot seem to do business by addressing compatible issues in their natural form.  Time?  They haven't got the time?  Why not?  Why can't they budget their time?

Look, when I have issues regarding my children,  I don't lump them in to issues that require me to look good for an event, like a manicure, pedicure and hairstyle.  When I am required to address issues regarding my salon,  I don't attach them on to issues that came up when I was attacked, issues that came up when my identity was sold to strangers, or issues that were born out my son's school activities.  I am forced to address each issue according to its kind.  Our governments haven't operated like this for at least 30 years.

How do we get our city officials, our county officials, state and federal representatives to address issues according to their kind?  It would be so much easier for constituents to vote properly if we knew exactly what we were voting on.  They seem to muck everything up when they convolute and crowd their proposals.
This disheartens me greatly.

Give Iran Their imprisoned Kinsman

A week ago, I was listening to BBC Radio and they reported Iran's abduction of two British ships and several sailors running missions to ward off the ever present problem of piracy and drug running in the Iraqi waters which are also shared by Iran and Qatar, amongst other regions along those waters.  When I heard it, I immediately began calling all my loved ones and friends in order to inform them that Iran committed an act of war against Great Britain.  I was infuriated because at the time, no American news stations, radio or television had reported this.  In fact, no local newspapers had it in their A sections for several days.

But on March 25th, it occured to me that Iran is doing something pretty damn interesting.  They are holding 15 British Military Personnel hostage   I remembered that every time in the past hostage situation where Iran called the shots, they demanded the release of Islamic prisoners in American facilities.

Here we have a president in Bush, a man who vowed to NEVER negotiate with terrorists or those who harbour them.  I'm thinking that the Iranian leader is showing the British that their support for the United States won't be reciprocated should the release of their soldiers come to depend on our releasing those in Guantanamo and other such facilities.  This is pretty tricky stuff.  But, you know what I'd do?  Brace yourselves because my suggestions might sound so Cheney/Bush-like in that it is far from humane. I'd sure hate for this to happen to any of our own in fact, but here goes.

I say we knock out all suspected terrorists and hostages we have stocked in our prisons.  We implant receivers in both ears and speak into their ears whenever we see fit.  Let them think they are hearing messages from their supreme leaders.  We could even start a hippy rebellion in Islam.  LOL  "You shall love your enemy.  You shall not kill your enemy.  Allah does not condone this hatred. You shall instead love your wives, mothers and sisters and shall serve them."  LOL   okay-okay, that's probably too much like torture. I'm sure you all get the point.  After we tag these prisoners, we might be persuaded to release them which would surprise the crap out of the Iranian leader.  He wouldn't have put his money on us helping out anyone because they see us as self serving to the point of screwing everyone else.  Their idea of America, is a country filled with people who buy themselves out of every known sin and woe.  Won't Iran be disappointed when we actually do release the prisoners back into their custody, along with a bill for their stay in the various jails, and offer Iran no money in the place of hostages.   Just imagine.

Geepers, I'm such a stinker.

Roman Centurians or Conservative Political Action of America? by Chelle Stockman

Response to Tom Smith's Article (mar2,2007 vallejo times herald) by Chelle Stockman
Opinion:

So typical of those tired of anyone who does not agree with President Bush, is the reasoning method chosen by Tom Smith in March 2, 2007, article, The Disastrous Left.

He begins by blaming the war in Iraq and eventual war in Iran on the "exportation of left wing, anything-goes attitude."  From there he quotes a minor few of Osama bin Laden and his Taliban movement speeches to the world.  You should see the things Mr. Smith left out as Osama and the Taliban site their reasons for killing innocents in New York shoving our brand of Democracy down our "arrogant American" throats.
From there, Mr. Smith says, "It's now time to stop the blame Game," and in the next breath he says it is up to the Democrats in the House of Representatives to basically fix things.  Was it the Democrats in the House of Representatives that took us to Iraq; is that what he thinks???  (sheer craziness and borderline lunacy)

Then Mr. Smith concludes by urging these left wing Democrats in the House of Representatives (or is he asking this of some other entity, its unclear in his letter) to "stop promoting diversity and start promoting unity!"

Until the "Conservative Political Action Committee" thinking people remove the log out of their eye, they will fail to persuade the speck out of the eyes of their accused.

Look, we are led to this war to disband OPEC and make a power grab for natural resources, beginning with Oil and moving on to the Natural Gas in the Caspian Sea.  In fact, our involvement in Afghanistan and Pakistan are directly related to the Natural Gas in the Caspian Sea.  It is about privatization of goods under the so called trade agreements.  So in effect, until our representatives admit this and see how those CEO's in higher places have manipulated even the 3 nations of Iraq under God, we shall not have a viable solution for peace.

The Taliban's message, most especially Mr. bin Laden's message, to the world speaks of Usury practices as being the evil of all evils.  Shall Americans stop taking out loans to buy homes?  Shall Americans cease to buy things on credit?  Hah! That will be the day.  They also blame us for being haughty and arrogant as we rely on our precious constitution that allows us to elect the likes of Bill Clinton (lying adulterer) and George Bush (capitalist lying murderer).  In fact, these are but a few of the reasons they gave in order to justify their attacks on the World Trade Centers.

Their accusations are correct; however, our Constitution, in line with the gift we were given pertaining to "free will", promises to allow us to think for ourselves, which includes making our own mistakes and also correcting them.  Unlike the other nations under God such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, etc., our constitution isn't based on Holy Words, but civil words. What sets us apart from Holy Based Constitutions, we leave the morality up to God and the people; not the courts of our laws.  Should we change and become a Theocratic driven Democracy, we shall become that which we find ourselves warring with in the Middle East.

The CEO's of Halliburton, Kellogg and Brown, Monsanto, and other such principalities are counting on this controlled chaos.  You see, they are greedy and greed of that magnitude can never be satisfied.

I do agree with Tom Smith in that we need to unify, but we will have to do it by first agreeing that our Constitution is worth protecting, and then secondly, that We the People must claim our Liberties back from the Corporations that currently decide our national and foreign policies.

This Wicked Precipice We Chose

They speak a little sense but then it all comes down to the slow churning of an insufficient political engine that sucks up time as though time wasn't a precious commodity.  Who are they?  Steny Hoyer and John Boehner.   What is it they speak of?  Whether or not to support the President's non-binding resolution to step up the war effort in Iraq as well as to increase the funding.

Boehner says they should support the resolution because after all it is non-binding and that they also should be allowed to do an up-down vote on the Republican plan which is to increase the funding so they can allow more troops to go to Iraq in the interest of safety.

Hoyer submits that a non-binding resolution was voted on by Republicans back in 95 before the war and it was a disaster as it was later applied to this war. Political posturing dictates these so called non-binding resolutions so I believe Americans had better sit up and take notice whenever we hear this term.  Most of them are taking up air time and serve only to puff up the egos of those who engage in the efforts to pass or not pass them.

In the case of these wars and those on the near horizon, non-binding resolutions have no place.

There currently seems a rush to vote on half-cooked recipes for the next leg of this war--leg of lamb comes to mind.  This group of folks needs to quit attaching so many things on to something that should read plainly.  The words used become subject to interpretation when they throw in their gobbly-gook and fatten the file.  I suggest they keep it simple and decide each item in order so that each item voted on has a date of implementation which will help us to prevent the cart going before the horse and also so we have a clear goal outlining where we hope to be in each step of action and the funding of actions.

This war could very well be the silencing of the lambs.  We removed Saddam and now are engaged with the regions fanatics who are worse than an average terrorist.  They seek to destroy Israel because it is the fanatics cause.  We thought that beast was dealt a mortal wound back in W.W. II but it turns out we were wrong- for it is coming back to life before our eyes.

Since we allowed ourselves to become motivated by the energy industries and we attempted to set up shop in Iraq, those in Israel have never been more in harm's way.  We will realize soon, that we are damned if we stay in the area and we will be damned if we pull out.  The blood of Israel and all nearby regions shall be upon our heads, including the already sacrificed Palestinians.  They are sitting ducks, too.  I distrust all talks I've heard by all parties because as I first said, they are half-cooked and ladeled with posturing.

We must come up with another solution that surpasses what is currently offered.  Love conquers all.  Take the children's remote controlled toys and go by air, land and water to release a potent love potion upon all hot-spots from Afghanistan to every boarder.  A loving nerve gas if you will.  We can then go and pick out the fanatics one by one and set them up to help us mine Mars in underground prison camps.  Ok so that is a bit much.  Besides we don't have the funding for that.  If you think about it, it does give a new meaning to "A little child shall lead them."   Spank them with toys delivering the love of a child.

I hope someone reads this.
