What do Bush and Balaam have in common?

The donkey walked with the burden of an elephant upon its back.  This prophet grew frustrated because the donkey kept veering off the "fast track."  The prophet had an agenda to bring to those in another territory and he had to do it right away in order to reap the profits.  Finally, just up ahead he saw a flame and a sword which he assumed was divine providence and a mandate from the people.

The donkey said, "Hell no.  We must not go."

The prophet (profiteer) was so impatient, so spoiled and tired of being disagreed with he got off to beat the donkey down and cried out, "If the Democrats aren't with us, they will be left behind."

Of course, the donkey knowing nothing else but what it is to be made a fool of by the elephant sized burden he has always carried, sees instead of an angelic mandate, sees the grim reaper and responds to the prophet, "This is one trip you make without my support, Bub."

Thought you folks might enjoy a little biblical story spun in the modern day.  Numbers 22:1 to 40 is quite interesting.  It would seem that the donkey has always carried the burden and suffered humility for daring to be only what it has ever been, a donkey.  The donkey won't change, it will always carry the burden of an elephant upon its back.  Even a donkey has its limits.  Like Balaam the prophet for profits, Bush insists his way is the right way because his god has ordained it so.  Like Balaam, Bush is a gentile and isn't kind to his beasts of burden.  Who better recognizes the fool Bush is than those who have had to carry his agenda upon their shoulders?  I suggest the Democrats tell him,  "since you insist on fast tracking us along your path in the name of profits, you will do so without our support.  Let those who want what you are selling pay for it out of their own reserves."
